Devilled Sausages

An all time classic favorite of mine from a child is deviled sausages and if you haven't yet tried it then you're in for a treat! For those of you who have i imagine it included the store brought packet mixes and but secretly i think this one is so much better.

Ingredients
  • 8 Sausages (Any complaint sausage is fine)
  • 1 cup Beef Stock
  • 410 g Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tsp Minced Ginger
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder
  • 2 tsp Coconut Amino
  • 1 Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (If you like some spice)
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • CALORIES PER SERVE: 315kcal
Instructions
  1. In a frying pan cook up your sausages on medium heat. Once cook slice them in half and place to one side.
  2. Place butter in a pan along with onion, garlic, ginger and apple. Feel free to leave the skin on as it keeps the apples whole and also adds extra nutrients.
  3. In a small bowl combine the following beef stock and cornflour and pour it into the frying pan along with the can of tomatoes.
  4. Add your paprika, thyme, coconut amino, mustard and remember if you want some extra spice to add cayenne pepper.
  5. Once combined add your sausages back into the pan and let it simmer until sauce thickens.
